Rethai'l tes Kesperion
The village potter

Rethai'l is the village potter, a merchant like most of Clan Kesperi'oni. He lives in one of the village beehive huts with his Lifemate and their children.

He has a stall in the market where he sells his wares. He also regularly supplies the kitchen of the main house with new crockery. We do not have plastic on Selar, so potters like Rethai'l are kept very busy.

Rethai'l's workshop and kiln where he makes his pottery are nearby to the foundry at the armory. This is a fair distance from the market. Everything must be loaded into wooden crates and put into a wagon to be taken to the market area which is on the opposite side of the Temple complex from his workshop. Often, this is too large a job for one Elf.

Rethai'l and Torlinque are friends and clansmen. You can often find them sitting by one of the fireplaces in the Great Hall of the main house in the evenings, sipping their wine and talking. Because of their close friendship, Rethai'l often asks Torlinque to help him load the crates of pottery into the wagon and drive them over to the market. Torlinque usually helps his friend, and the workshop is usually the first place I look for Torlinque in the mornings or on his days off if I can't find him immediately in the Send when I call.
