For the Love of Tolirion 05/02/06 Last night Torlinque and I were sitting up in bed talking briefly before falling asleep. He had a rather worried look on his face which is not typical of him. I asked him if he was all right. He said yes, but that he was worried about Tolirion. He had spent most of the evening with him, and now was troubled. I looked over at Tolirion asleep next to us. He was barely breathing, which is a sign of a healing sleep. We both commented on how the annual preparations for Spring Festival always seem to drive him to insanity/exhaustion. "You need to get him some help." I said, "And he needs to rest. You should take him to the spring for a day - work your charms upon him." "He'd never go." said Torlinque. "He'll tell me there's too much to do. Besides, where would he get help now? Everyone's so busy." I said," [Soul Name], is Spring Festival not put on by the Temple?" "Yes..." he said. "Then it is a State event, yes?" "Yes." "And do not Adrastai serve both the State and the Temple?" Torlinque began to smile. He saw where I was going with this. "Then speak to Kharie'l and get Tolirion some help! Surely he can give a squad or two over to Tolirion and Darr for a few days just so they have the extra hands to get everything done. Tolirion can set them up and then take a day to go to the spring and rest. There will be several days after that before the festival that he can come back and have them correct anything that doesn't meet his standards." "Tell Kharie'l I said to give you the day off Friday so that you can go with Tolirion and take care of him. If he doesn't, let me know and I will speak to him. If Tolirion doesn't rest his body soon, his body will shut down to rest anyway and he'll end up in stasis in the Healing Wing. No one wants that." Torlinque smiled at me, "You...are brilliant." I smiled back. Then I set to infusing Tolirion with a little energy to help him get through the rest of the week. He stretched and mumbled something, but he didn't wake up. I didn't give him very much at all. I don't think his system could handle a big infusion that quickly right now.
